Highway 28 out of Stecoah to Deal's Gap along the Cheoah River. Nice forest and river riding. This along with the Cherohala Skyway are my favorite rides around "The Dragon". The video is too long, but I'm a sucker for scenery. Enjoy some Hendrix tunes while you watch

The mercury is hovering around 37F today for the first time since I can't remember when, meaning we're that much closer to Motorcycle Season. Regular readers (all nine of you) , will note that I don't adhere to the traditional "scientific" labeling of the equinoxes, instead I break it down into two polar extremes. The first," Motorcycle Season" which runs from late March to early November here in the O H I O. This is the time of year when all the cogs in the universe are whirring in the same direction together promoting harmony, happiness, love, and an overwhelming stirring in the human soul to achieve world peace. The second part of the year is mired in "Not Motorcycle Season", this time of year brings about sullenity and a cold, hard, darkening in the heart of man. It is a deep pit of despair to which no hopeful light can penetrate. The right thinker is reduced to all but a hollow shell of a person, left to gaze out on sheets of ice and snow, hoping for the tiniest rays of sunshine to crack the clouds. A dark time indeed. Today however brings sunshine and bird song. Let the healing begin. A video to get the adventure bike juices flowing. Warm thy hearts my followers, for soon we ride!!
